A quick vacation update
First I need to thank a blog in England that did very nice article on me, Mary. I am attaching the link. http://www.whatacandle.co.uk/blog/meet-the-art-crafts-bloggers-%E2%80%93-native-american-art-specialist-mary-hone/
We are having a great time out here in the desert. We have seen some beautiful new places, and done some nice hiking. Tuesday we went to the Vermilion cliffs wilderness area. They only allow in a certain number of people per day, and we got a permit.
Such a pretty place. We wandered and hiked most of the day. When I get hot and tired, I get to ride in a bag mom made last year for me. It’s made from a reusable grocery bag. She made a special adjustable strap so it can be carried on your shoulder. I like it.
Torrey ran from shade tree to shade tree when it got warm in the afternoon. Thankfully, mom and dad bring lots of water for us.
Yesterday we just hiked a short 3 mile slot canyon. Cottonwood canyon. Today we are going to got to Buckskin gulch. It’s the longest slot canyon in the world. Excited for that, even though we won’t go the whole way. In the morning we are going to go and camp near Bryce National park. We’ll spend a few days there and then move to somewhere new.
More updates when we can. It’s all about the fun!!
