Our original plan of doing art shows in the Phoenix area this winter, didn’t really pan out. That’s OK really, I’m not a fan of Phoenix. We are in Lake Havasu right now and there is a swap meet here every Sunday, and down the road in Parker, there is one every Saturday. So that’s what we’re doing. There are tons and tons of snowbirds down here this time of year, so it’s perfect really. The set up is easy, the fee is cheap, and there is money to be made. Al has been working on some carving stuff he had ready to go. Like these leaves.
Aren’t they awesome! And at $25, a steal for a last minute gift.
Let me know if you would be interested in one, I can ship them easily.
I have been making beaded bracelets, and Roxy doggie necklaces. No pictures of those, sorry, they are packed in a box underneath. Al was amazed how fast a lady got out her wallet the other day to buy a necklace for her dog. I think he’s starting to finally understand how pet parents will buy great things for their dogs.
I finished a beaded bag I have been making for myself. I wanted a bag to carry at rendezvous, and I am quite pleased with the way this one turned out.
It’s been nice to work outside and enjoy the sun. Plus, Al wouldn’t get any carving done if he couldn’t work outside. I have to draw the line on sawdust in the RV. LOL
And because the sunrise in the morning yesterday was beautiful, here are a couple of photos.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!!
