Back from Jackson Hole
Well, we made it back last night. We had a nice trip, even though it was kinda short. The new pieces got delivered to the gallery, he was thrilled with everything.
We camped outside of Jackson Hole on the Gros Ventre river. It was so pretty, and green everywhere. The weather was so nice and cool compared to the 90’s we’ve had here. Tuesday we hiked in the wilderness and it was fantastic.

The wild flowers were blooming, and we saw some animals too.
We came up over a little hill and there was a couple of ravens in the trees. They were talking back and forth so we stopped to listen. Mom and Dad love ravens. Then mom saw a raven on the ground not to far in front of us. He was a young one and couldn’t fly yet. Suddenly one of the adult ravens started flying from our left and we noticed a coyote going toward the young raven. Both of the adults started dive bombing the coyote and one of them chased him over the hill, pecking at his head the whole way. It was so cool to see. Dad took the camera while mom stayed with me and Torrey, and tried to get close to the young bird. He did got some video of him, but the parents weren’t happy about it. So, we left the raven family alone, and kept hiking. It was mom’s birthday that day, and she said that was the best gift.
We spent a little time in Jackson Hole yesterday before we came home, I got to see Grizzly at the Hide Out, that was fun. They want some of my Roxy Doggie necklaces to sell in their store. Grizzly has one, and everyone loves it. It was a great trip.
Sounds like you all had a great trip. It sounds like it was so cool to see the ravens. Ahh I want to go on a vacation!
