  1. Neat picture of these Dump ducks, sea pigeons or gulls. There are two kind in Utah and I heard they saved the day in the old days for pioneers in Utah when the locust plague came to devour crops. Now they reside at the dump and fly low to scoop down on freshly plowed fields the farmer cultivates. They remind me of being at the ocean.

    BOL!!! That first gull in the first photo looks downright angry!

    In the spring we are overwhelmed by huge flights of gulls, egrets, pelicans, egrets, anhingas and cormorants. When the river seems to be solid birds we know spring has sprung!
