  1. Not a fan here either, but I did always like seeing them lined up like that in the railings on the boardwalk. Nice photo.

  2. The second one with the bird flying past is cool ^___^ I had a seagull try to rob me of my fish and chips once… silly me eating fish and chips by the sea… slapped me on the face when he flew from behind me to peck my food.

  3. Neat picture of these Dump ducks, sea pigeons or gulls. There are two kind in Utah and I heard they saved the day in the old days for pioneers in Utah when the locust plague came to devour crops. Now they reside at the dump and fly low to scoop down on freshly plowed fields the farmer cultivates. They remind me of being at the ocean.

  4. Hi Y’all!

BOL!!! That first gull in the first photo looks downright angry!

In the spring we are overwhelmed by huge flights of gulls, egrets, pelicans, egrets, anhingas and cormorants. When the river seems to be solid birds we know spring has sprung!

    Y’all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  5. Those are wonderful shots! Have you ever seen the movie “Finding Nemo?” That movie perfectly portrayed seagulls personalities!

  6. That’s a great shot and not a subject I would expect to see in your area! I love seagulls because I love the ocean and they are a package deal.
