Good grief. I haven’t been very good about posting my 52 week project photos. I have been doing them every week, just not sharing with you guys. The last time I posted photos, it took us up to week 31. I just took photos for week 41, so lets get caught up.
I was super lucky the other day, when Al’s mom was cleaning out a cupboard of old stuff. She pulled out 3 old cameras, and asked if I would like to have them. Oh hell ya, I want them. One is a Polaroid 360 Land camera, with the telescoping front. They were made in 1969-71, and amazingly enough you can still get film for them. There is also a Polaroid 600, with a pack of film from who knows when, and an old 1950’s Birdseye box style camera. I already had the Argus on the far right of this photo.
The Dogwood 52 prompt for this week is Toys-Storytelling. Since I don’t have kids, and no access to toys, I really had to give this one some thought. I got to thinking…these are my “Toys”, how can I tell a story with them. After trying several different ideas, none of which told any kind of story, I decided to try this shot with my cell phone as part of the storytelling.
