Earth Day — 55 Comments

  1. “get out and enjoy the earth” fabulous advice to us all! My Mom was bad, she blogged about Earth Day on Cody’s blog but not mine :( Barks and licks and love, Dakota

  2. I’ve never seen Glacier Lilies before. They are beautiful and what a wonderful carpet they make. I can’t believe you still have snow on the ground. Summer has definitely left here so I had been hoping it would have made it’s way to you by now. At least there are definite signs of Spring though and I’m so pleased you can get out and enjoy the delights of mother nature.

  3. The flowers look pretty and there is not that much snow, lucky for you. They say later this week it is going to be in the 50’s and the snow will be over with, we have our paws crossed. In the meantime, more snow coming tonight.

  4. I didn’t know it was Earth Day today. I’ve spent all day at my computer, and this was a good reminder to get out, enjoy the day and enjoy the beautiful things the Earth provides for us. Thanks!

  5. You are so right Roxy…If more folks got out and saw the beauty of our world maybe more folks would care about keeping it that way…Love your golden flower carpet today…Happy Earth Day!

  6. The glacier lilies are beautiful! Your post is very similar to mine today – love looking at pictures of flowers! Happy Earth Day.

  7. That’s so true! Max and I will be enjoying the earth for a nice walk after work at a new place ;)

  8. Things are starting to look green in my neck of the woods. Can’t believe you guys still have a hint of snow on the ground!
    Happy Earth Day!

  9. I love the smells in the air, the blue sky. I love going bare foot, having the sunshine on my skin. We should treat the Earth with respect, like she is your best friend and Mother. If you haven’t bonded with her yet then get out there and feel her nurturing touch. Go outside and feel the love. Give someone you love a mud pie for Earth Day!

  10. Roxy the picture are jut gorgeous! Here in MN it is sunny (for now) and then we are having a special Earth Day with 6-9 inches of snow on the way :)

  11. I love Spring and I love the Earth!!! Oh, and I loved your pictures…So I guess it’s a Happy Earth Day indeed!! Enjoy!!

  12. Happy Earth Day. Those lilies are beautiful! We are finally starting to see some signs of Spring around here too!

  13. Beautiful. I love spring flowers. I used to live in Texas and really miss the Bluebonnets and Texas Paintbrushes. We’re in Kansas now and the only wild flowers I am seeing are the dandelions. But our trees are blossoming, which is pretty.

  14. You’re absolutely right! It was a beautiful sunny day in Portland today, and Cali wanted to be outside all day! Happy Earth Day!

  15. What a great way to celebrate Earth Day! I think we are officially done with the snow. At least the flowers are blooming :)

  16. Yes, it is a great way to celebrate the beauty that surrounds us, I love the flowers, it is probably one of my favorite parts of spring.
