  2. I love it when there’s an entire field of flowers. There’s a park near me that is awash in a sea of Virginia bluebells every spring. Each year I try to take pictures and capture the beauty, but my photos never seem to do it justice.

    Your photos are gorgeous.

  3. Great photos of beautiful flowers. Mom always wanted a big open area where she could toss out those wild flower seeds they sell, but we don’t have such an area.

  4. Oh wow! We don’t have flowers like those around here. I love wildflowers! Those ones at the very top kind of remind me of columbine. I wonder if it’s a variety of them?

    • It’s quite a bit smaller than a columbine, but still super pretty. And FYI, I have been nominating you everyday this month in the Petties for best overall pet blog. You totally fit that category! I hope it helps you get nominated.

  5. That first BLUE flower is absolutely the perfect blue! Hi Mary! Your photos are alive with summer and my favorite flowers are of the blue and purple variety! And thank you so much for coming to visit. Anita

  6. We thought about you when we heard about the portneuf rendezvous going on! We should have drove out to check it out

  9. So gorgeous! I want to paint all of the flowers. You really have a talent for capturing beauty.

  10. SO beautiful. What a wonderful place to camp. Hope there aren’t bugs to go with that wet meadow… but even if there are, I bet the flowers make up for it!

  11. These are beautiful pictures Mary. I love the detail. I envy you, you see much beauty on your travels.
