Happy to be on the back road again — 19 Comments

  1. Yes, we like to live rural. Our person lived in a big-big city and said never again :-)
    We like quiet!

  2. I definitely crave the wide open feel of the countryside. Living where I do just outside DC, the pressures of way too many people definitely gets to me. Driving home from work ages me more each day! Ugh!

  3. Lovely photos. I live in a pretty rural area, and love it. But a big city isn’t too far away, which is nice as well.

  4. I’m sure you already know what I’m going to answer! RURAL… mountains, meadows and woodland. I’m so happy you could leave the bad juju behind. I bet Roxy and Torrey are happy too. Ah, yes, that field is lovely. I love love love the shot of the fence.

  5. I’m not sure if I love it or hate it. It would be nice to get away every now and then, but I do like visiting cities and everything. Love the photo of the fence!

  6. What a lovely spot. Here we are living in the countryside and we only have one neighbour about 100 meter away, so we love the silence here.

  7. Cool photos! I must say, after driving through Utah on the way to Vegas, we never want to go back! It was pretty for about half an hour and that was enough already. I’m sure there are nice areas, but we hear ya on being happy to hit the road out of there!

  8. Gorgeous!! I’d love to be seasonal! :) Alternate between a rejuvenating calm place like that… and a rejuvenating bustling city!

  9. OMD, I am so happy that you on back on the road and I am able to FINALLY get on your blog!! We have had some laptop issues!! BTW, I love your new header!!!!!!!!!

  10. That looks so beautiful! I do crave and love non-civilization, as long as there is Wi-Fi and/or cell service. LOL
