Yesterday we drove to our home on the river. Yep, we are back at the Gros Ventre campground were we have spent the better part of the past 2 summers. It definitely feels like home to us.
The river is incredibly full right now though. More water than we have ever seen. I walked down so I could get some photos for day 5 in my 100 day project, and couldn’t believe it. The place were we usually sit and dip our feet in, is under a foot of fast moving water. Torrey was super confused. She ran to the river positive she was going to have some play time. I think she was pretty bummed out.
Anyway, here is day 5 in the 100 Day Project. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but that’s the way it goes.
Before we left Teton Village, Al took some great photos of a raven high up on a roof.
Sunday evening we packed up the show, grabbed the dogs, and headed to the free concert that was going on that night. Teton Village has a free concert every Sunday night in the summer. That night was reggae, with a great group from Jamaica. Here’s a short video of Roxy rockin’ out. With my help of course. Torrey was a little unsure of the loud music, but settled right in and enjoyed some people watching.
A good time was had by all.
