Shed defense giveaway from Best Pet Health
Best Pet Health carries the full line of Nutri-vet products. They have a wide range of supplements for many conditions affecting dogs and cats. Their website is fun and easy to use, so you can find exactly what you need for your pet. Every product listed includes a description of the product, what condition it’s best for, and a full ingredient list. I received the Shed-defense Max liver chewables from Best Pet Health to try out on Torrey.
Torrey is a mini Aussie, so she has a very thick coat. She doesn’t have a huge problem with shedding excessively, but she was very itchy. After looking at the product description and the ingredient list, I decided this could help her skin condition overall.
I have been very pleased with the Shed-Defense. Within a couple of weeks, Torrey’s itching was greatly reduced.
And, she likes the taste of the chew-able, I have no problem giving it to her.
The main ingredients are –
Flax seed oil contains the omega-3 fatty acid linolenic acid that enzymes in the body convert into EPA and DHA. It is a dietary source of soluble fiber.Sunflower oil provides high levels of the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid (LA). LA optimizes water permeability of skin.Safflower oil is especially rich in the essential fatty acid linoleic acid (LA). LA optimizes water permeability of skin.

I’ll be checking out this website! Great info – my dog, Kiah, has a little trouble with dry, itchy skin and shedding (Shepherd/Lab cross = black hair everywhere!) and seasonal allergies. It would be great to find a product to help with that.
All three of my dogs could definitely use this product! Our house is basically made of hair at this point. :) crzycoookies@yahoo.com
Mom says that sounds great! Dillon and I both shed lots and lots of hairs all over the place! And if the Shed-Defenses taste yummy, even better! We will go see their website too!

With two Alaskan Malamutes (double coats) I can use all the help I can get in the battle of the dog hair war.
I would love to try this with Roxy, my beagle Jack Russel Mix.
We have a pug and pugs are notorious for shedding. He also has dry skin so I’m sure this would help him one way or the other. Who knows, maybe it’ll lessen the trails of hair he leaves throughout the house. lol definetly worth a try.

Hi Roxy,
I’m sure my Dad would like me to have this, he thinks I shed a lot, but Mum says I’m a minimal shedder (she used to have Golden Retrievers!) :)
Have a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
We have three shedding dogs and the other three are poodles so they don’t shed (much). One of the dog’s hair is prickly and it irritates me. I hope to try this product soon. Maybe it will help my Chihuahuas.
