About a week before we left on this trip, I received a ShedMonster to review. I was asked to review the product, and they sent me a free ShedMonster to try. I received two, one for long hair dogs, and one for short hair dogs or cats. I have never used a tool like this before. I have always just brushed my dogs. Torrey has long hair and sheds a moderate amount. So I was excited to try the ShedMonster on her. Since I knew we were all going to be living in the 5th wheel for several weeks, keeping the shedding to a minimum seemed like a great idea. Torrey likes to be brushed, so I knew she would likely sit still for me to try the ShedMonster. There was no discomfort for her at all. The curved blades have sharp edges that actually cut the hair instead of pull it out. Two passes along her body and I have a nice little handful of hair. Yep, she likes it. I brought the ShedMonster with us on this trip. I’m really glad I did. Every time I use it, I get huge handfuls of hair. I am very impressed with the tool. It does exactly what it says it will, and it’s easy to use. I have used the short hair tool on Roxy and had good results there too. Her hair is so short, but it still got some extra hair from her. I would highly recommend the ShedMonster to any dog owner who wants to keep the hair flying around the house to a minimum.
