So, mom and dad rushed around and put stuff away, and I sat in the chair and watched. I was snuggled in my blankie, how was I supposed to help anyway. Torrey went outside to do her business, then she realized it had snowed. She was positive it snowed just for her. She ran circles in the trees, around the trailer, and over me. Sheesh, that dumb pup loves the cold, not me, Brrrr. Anyway, after getting everything battened down, and sweeping the snow off the top of the slide outs so we could actually slide them in, we barreled down the dirt road. Thank goodness for Dodge diesel power and dads great driving ability. We got to the paved highway, well snow covered pavement, and pulled off for a little while. After a lot of back and forth debate about more snow through the night and next day, we ended up at the RV park at Ruby’s Inn. We have a solar panel to charge our batteries, we need those to run the furnace. No sun, no power, no heat. Not a great combo, hence the RV park, again. It’s not bad here though, just another relaxing day. Way to cold to hike.We had to take Torrey to a grassy field so she could run circles and chase sticks. She had cabin fever, bad.
We are leaving here on Thursday and going to another mountain man rendezvous. Supposed to be great weather this weekend. I’m looking forward to that.
