A new venture, or maybe adventure
Call me crazy, restless, indecisive, or whatever. Because really, I’m all of those things. As I mentioned a little while ago, I am putting aside the mass production of beadwork, to try my hand at selling my photography. I will still do beadwork projects if someone needs custom work, but otherwise I’m going to focus more on my photography. I have really grown to love taking photos. I like to find that different angle, a new way of looking at something. I have talked to, and learned from photographers at art shows this past summer. I have watched people fall in love with, and buy images at these shows. So with crazy abandon, I am going to jump into the photography world, and hope for the best.
You, my dear readers, have always been a great cheering section for images I have posted here and on facebook. Maybe you’re all just being polite, but I think I have taken some photos that are pretty awesome.
To start this new venture, I purchased a high quality photo printer that will allow me to print images up to 13 x 19″ . I also found a fabulous company that will print on canvas for me, so I can stretch my own gallery wrap canvases.
I’m getting geared up to sell at art shows in Arizona this winter. But, I am also going to sell here on the blog. I have set up an online photo selling shopping cart, to sell paper prints from 5 x 7″ note cards, to 11 x 14″. I will also take orders on canvas prints.
