An Artwork Update
An Artwork Update
Al has been super busy lately building some bookcases for a client. They wanted something custom for their home, and well, he is the guy to do just that.
They wanted elk carved on one of the bookcases, and horses on the other. They turned out beautifully.
I’m pretty sure the clients are going to be thrilled.
Yep, my horse photos are immortalized in wood now.
Tomorrow we leave for Sioux Falls, SD. (((YEAH))
Al has two pieces in the Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk show. This show is unique because the sculptures are installed throughout the downtown area, and left up for a year. We’ve never been to Sioux Falls, and we are really looking forward to this trip, and seeing the art.
We are going to do a little site seeing too, since we will be going through new places. I’ve never been so excited to hit the road.
After that, we have to get stuff done for our summer art shows, so we will have to come back here. We have our art show schedule now, and you can see where we will be on the Artwork and Art shows page. I love to meet my readers, so if you are in any of these areas, please stop and say hello.
I’m sure the clients will jump with joy… like me as I saw this beautiful things…it’s like magic what artpieces your Al can make with his hands….
OH MY G……….

Hello, Your hubby’s wood work is just beautiful. I love the elk and the horses. The sculptures are beautiful. Enjoy your trip to Sioux Falls. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
His work is fantastic! A real talent and it sure shows! Have fun in Sioux Falls, although I have no idea what one would do there that would be much fun.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
How beautiful. I’m in awe. Thank you for sharing Mary. I am still speechless.
I’m in awe!! Amazing details! Al is an artist and a perfectionist.
Happy travel, Mary. :)
Al’s work is absolutely stunning. Exquisite. I really wish I could afford to have him build a couple of small low-rise bookcases, I’ve been looking all over for them and the only ones I’ve found are relatively plain and $600 each. For PLAIN, production-line pieces. I love those art walk shows, I’ve been to several of them and they’re such fun and so interesting. Good luck with yours!
Mom would love to go there to see the sculptures! She let her cousin know she lives just down the road from Sioux Falls so maybe she’ll be able to go. Love Dolly
Wow – that is so gorgeous!
Those book cases just take my breath away. Those are some very lucky folks who are getting those in their home.
