An object in motion
An object in motion
The photo prompt from The daily post at WordPress this week is, motion. This first photo is from the Utah state hawk and knife championship we had at the rendezvous this past weekend.
I took 4 rapid frames of this man throwing. They throw so fast, that it’s hard to get a photo at all.
The second image is a windmill we found in Arizona. I slowed the shutter speed way down to give the moving blades a blur.

Good morning Mary! You teach me new things every morning. I am going to play with the shutter speed now and try to get some action photos. That windmill is gorgeous! Have another creative and wonderful day, Anita
Great captures for the photo prompt.. I like the windmill. Happy Tuesday!
Great photos… and I learnt something about the shutter… I probably should really read the instruction sheet of my camera… maybe that would help a lot to take better photos :o)
I like the blurry windmill blades!
Very nice capture of the revolving blades!
very cool
The first set looks so old, but then there is the color, so it can’t be old. It is a thought provoking set.
love the windmill shot. yes, i’d imagine catching any action in those throws is difficult!
Those are awesome photos, I especially love the windmill.
I like the way the motion is captured in the windmill photo.
Yes, he’s fast, but more importantly, he’s really accurate.
