We went for a drive the other night, and saw this group. Some were having a dust bath. Made for some very cool photos.
This photo is Day 17 in my 100 Days Project.
I am joining the Black and White Sunday blog hop.
Magnificent. Have a serene Sunday and enjoy some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
Awesome in B&W and a beautiful image of the Bison!
We just love these buffalo photos – amazing!
Very nice!
I’m loving this challenge you are doing and all the great photos. Have you put them all up on FB or someplace because I know I’ve missed some.
Thanks. They are on my facebook page, and the link to the project itself is at the top of this post.
Doh! Guess I should read more carefully…Thanks!
awesome!
MUST BE NICE TO BE OUT OF THE HUSTLE AND THE BUSTLE OF THE CITY. TO SMELL AND SEE THE EARTH IN A PRIMITIVE WAY. THE STARRS AT NIGHT MUST BE AWESOME. GREAT PHOTO CAPTURING HIS GRAND PRESENSE.
Majestic animals!
Wow! What an awesome sight. :-)
Beautiful Bison!! Lovely quote!
It’s sad to think that thousands of these animals once ran free.
Beautiful photo, Mary…and what a GREAT quote! I LOVE it!
WOW!! What an amazing creature! Thanks for sharing!
I think bison are the coolest creatures. How neat to be able to watch them–particularly during the dust baths. Hope you were upwind, or well downwind so you didn’t get too dusted.

Great photo. I have never seen a bisson in person, that must be a great experience.

How lovely. I’ve never seen one in person either.
God Mary. What a great shot. It is perfect. I love your friend Wayne’s words. He is quite the poet.
