Cache valley rendezvous
We made it back again, a day early this time. We of course got snowed on, AGAIN. We’ve decided that we need to travel some place that’s having a drought. Every single trip we’ve taken this year we’ve been snowed on. Sheesh.
Anyway, Friday and Saturday the weather was pretty good. So mom and dad got to shoot and play on those days. Mom didn’t take one single picture on this trip, so all the photos you see in this post are from a photographer that we run into everywhere we go. He takes great pics and posts them on flickr. I’ll include his link at the end, then you can look at all the pictures he took at the rendezvous. Fun stuff.
This is a picture of my friend Jesse. I haven’t seen her since last fall. Sadly, her health has gotten worse and she can’t walk anymore. She needs surgery on her knees and her family can’t afford to do it right now. So, she gets carried everywhere, I think she’s OK with that actually.
This is Dave the blacksmith and his Newfoundland, Anvil. He actually has two of these dogs. I’ve seen them, from a distance, but never met them before. I finally got to meet them this year, they are so nice! Everyone laughed at me when I got on my back tippy toes to sniff Anvil’s butt. What else was I supposed to do?
The rest of these pictures are other dogs, and one kitten, and some of the people we see at rendezvous.

Hey Roxy,
You sure have some great friends, it looks like you had a fun time despite the snow!
Your pal Snoopy :)
I hadn’t scrolled down all the way for the first photograph and and first I thought Jesse with the bad knees was the woman…then I saw “she is carried everywhere” and knew I was missing something :) Jesse the doggie is cute. Too bad she can’t hike anymore.
Has Jesse’s family considered doing a fundraiser for her? My dog may need surgery on one of his knees in the future and I would hope others would be willing to help us if we couldn’t afford it. I would be happy to donate a little and forward along to my animal-loving friends.
