Celebrating Wild Horses in Art for #worldartday
Celebrating Wild Horses in Art for #worldartday
I found out this morning that today, April 15th, is World Art Day. So I thought I better get my artistic self together, and write a post Celebrating Wild Horses in Art for #worldartday.
The horses all by themselves are artistic. Flowing manes, lots of movement, plenty of chances for good artistic photography. I do like to push the artistic end of my photos sometimes, and create something unique.
A horse is poetry in motion.
This stallion was creating his own artistic look.
Yin and Yang. Attracting, and opposing stallions.
I like black and white for a lot of my photos, simply because it makes you more aware of the subject, and the contrasts.
I love the warmth, the colors, and the striking blue eye in this image. This cremello stallion is so handsome, and a great artistic subject.
I frequently look for that different and unique photo. Something out of the box, that tells a story.
I hope you enjoyed this little artistic break today.
I’m also working on getting a bunch of my new images on my website, Mary Hone Photography, so keep an eye out over there for that.
just gorgeous and perfect for this day!
Hello, beautiful horses. These are all awesome photos. I love the first motion shot. Enjoy your day and new week!
Love them! I especially like the second black and white one, where each muscle on the black horse really stands out, accentuating is strength and beauty.
Your horse images are pure art. They celebrate the beauty and wildness of those horses. I simply adore them!
Nice horses. We forget about b/w most of the time. I think we need to do some more of that as it is perfect for certain photos.
Such gorgeous portraits!
I loved seeing each one.
Good morning Mary! I missed this yesterday, having to rush out to shovel the snow! I LOVE THAT CREMELLO! And of course, all the other horses. The horse himself as you say here, creates his own kind of art. This creature is in itself a sculpture of power and grace.LOVE!
Mary, I think you celebrate world art day all year long. Your photos are just so amazing.
