This week the Dogwood 52 provided some artistic licence, I thought so anyway. The prompt is Door, in the creative category. While we were in Wyoming recently, I took a couple photos that I thought worked perfect for this week.
This first one is a mountain bluebird, at the door to their nest. I watched him, and his mate clean out this hole in a pine tree, getting it ready for a nesting sight.
Trees to me are a doorway, a space to go between and find something new. One evening we had a rainbow, it ended between these cottonwoods creating a beautiful, creative door to another place.
The 2 Lil Owls prompt this week is Something Old. I had this in mind as we walked around the car show. I love old cars. They had such artistic style back in the day.
The old, ornate hood ornaments are my favorite. This one is from a Plymouth and is one I’d never seen before.
And this….this car. I just want to drive one of these some day. These old Cobras have always been a favorite.
Short post today, but what have you guys been creating?
I love the door to the bird house. What a creative take on the word.
Hello, the Mountain Bluebird is gorgeous. What a lovely photo. The rainbow is a beautiful sight. Wonderful variety of photos. Enjoy your day and week ahead!
Oh, lovely blue bird! The rainbow image is like a beautiful painting.
Those old cars are indeed amazing. Would love to try one of them one day, myself. Also the mountain bluebird is amazing. The colours if its feathers are so intense blue. Beautifully captured.
I love the bird house door, too!
