It’s getting to be Spring
Your typist today – RoxyFriday I had to take a trip to the vet. Don’t worry, it was just a check up so I could get my Rimadyl refilled for the rest of the year. My blood work and everything looked great, I am a healthy old dog. Since we had to drive to Provo to get that done, mom figured she would treat all 3 of us to something nice and stop along the river path for a walk. It was a sunny but coolish day, a nice day for a walk on the river. We stopped about half way, and had a nice little run around. I was more interested in chomping on some fresh grass. Love me some fresh green grass. Torrey always likes to have a little run off leash. As we got near the end of our walk, mom decided we could use a drink and to get our feet wet before we got to the truck. There is one little spot we like to stop on the river. That day, we ran into these guys. I don’t think they were very happy we were taking over their little corner of the river. “If I hide behind this rock, they won’t see me.” Torrey really couldn’t have cared they were there. Mom thought she would want to chase them, I just think Torrey didn’t want to go for a swim. It was a refreshing change to be able to get our feet wet, even thought the water is still pretty cold. We also saw this beautiful tree in bloom. Mom isn’t really sure what type of fruit tree this is. She remembers there being plum trees along this path, so maybe that’s it. It was a great way to spend a nice spring day. I think we will be going back there soon. We are joining the Monday Mischief blog hop today. It’s all about the fun!!
