Just a random moose or two — 26 Comments

  1. Many years ago, my sister and I went on a cross-country jaunt. Somewhere along the way we saw a big moose in a field along the road. We hopped out and ran into the field to get a good picture. Before we knew it, some trucker had pulled over and was screaming at us to get away fast. He said the bulls are very aggressive and we were lucky not to have been attacked. I don’t know if that is true or not, but that memory has always stuck with me.

  2. I miss so much when I go on vacation! I caught up on your posts but couldn’t comment on them all, so I’m commenting here. It is super cool that you see so much wildlife where you are. Beaver, Buffalo and Moose, I find that very cool.

And congrats on your new home, it looks so beautiful, I bet you have all adjusted to having more space. It’s so easy to adjust to more, but not less, right? ;-D

    Have a great weekend!

  3. Roxy, I hope you kept your distance! Beautiful shots of beautiful animals, but I’m sure you know that they can be dangerous!

  4. Those are some great shots- and boy he really was fat. Mom loves observinf wild animals so that must have been a blast.

  5. Very cool! One animal I’ve never seen. They are suppose to be in the Upper Peninsula, but I’ve never had chance to see one.

Hope you are all safe out there with them big guys. Hope you are having a safe trip! :)

  6. I’ve never seen a live moose. That must have been neat. I HAVE see a whole herd of elk though. I stumbled across one, literally, when I was working at Olympic National Park.

  7. I am just in awe of your photos. I have only seen moose a few times and each experience was incredible. I can’t believe you are seeing so many.
