Name that sculpture
Name that sculpture
If you follow the Tales from the back road page on Facebook, you saw this yesterday. If not, you get to see it today instead.
Anyway, Al has created a new sculpture. We need some name ideas for it though, so I am throwing this out to you guys for some suggestions.
Between the two of us, we can usually come up with something, but this time we are stumped.
This sculpture was inspired by this photo I took.
So let’s hear your creative ideas.
We are in Teton Village this weekend for an art show. If you are in the area, stop and say hello.
I am stumped as well. What an awesome job he does on these sculptures!!! Extraordinary!!
Oh goodness, is this not gorgeous! It’s too stunning to even find words to go with it, but I’d say, “Tête-à-Tête” – (heart to heart, one on one…)
This is gorgeous — stunning, (and talented) how he has recreated your beautiful photo.
My thought was, “Bison Meet” or “Friends on the hoof” or “Got Your Back” :)
“Majestic” sculpture Al. I think I heard him say ………”patriarch of the herd”
I admire the artist’s skill; a beautiful piece. I’ll have to mull it over.
First of all, the sculpture is amazing! We are sure what type of bird it is either. We’ve looked at the other comments we got nothing either. Love Dolly
Guardians of the Spirit
Crows are a sign that something special is about to happen…
Buffalo is a symbol of gratitude and honor…
“Unlikely Friends” or “Unlikely Soulmates” or “Respecting Our Differences”
Really nice work with the birds on the back and all, but no clue what to name it.
That’s awesome. All that comes to mind is The Local – like the birds are taking the local bus instead of the express. :)
An incredible sculpture! :)
I was thinking something like Caren…”unlikely friends”. That sculpture is just gorgeous.
This is a beautiful sculpture and how thrilling that it was inspired by your photo! I’m terrible at titles for anything – probably sounds odd for a writer, right? – but my editors write all my titles, so I get off the hook. I’m sure whatever you decide on will complement this gorgeous piece well.
What about “eye to eye”? Lovely sculpture by the way. Very expressive.
How interesting to see yours and Al’s takes on the same behavior. It would be great to display them together at your next art show.
The first word that came to my mind (but it’s hardly poetic) is symbiosis. Probably wouldn’t get much interest at an art show. :)
