Pretty flowers and cute dogs
Since I haven’t been posting very much lately, you probably guessed there isn’t much around here to talk about, or photograph. It’s a pretty boring, non scenic place to be. Today however, my oldest son and I are going in search of wild horses. Hopefully we will find them.
Meanwhile, I did find a little bit of color in some glacier lily’s. I do love these little flowers, and they are only around for a very short time.
We are finally having some decent weather too, the dogs and I are pretty happy to get out and walk some more. Especially since Torrey has been given the walking go ahead.
And how about a little Roxy on the rocks?
Have a fabulous Monday friends!
Happy MOnday, Mary! I know the feeling when there is simply no sun, no interesting landscape and you have nothing to photograph! Our winter this year was like that. We typically have lots of snow and sunny days but not this time, so my winter photograph was nil!
BUT You captured the hidden beauty pushing up through the darkness of the brown. Soon all of us should be seeing more color and then the rush, the thrill begins. Oh the dogs look darling!
Look at this as a challenge. Photograph the nondescript and make it look haunting. Play with colour, shadow, black and white. You can make art out of anything.
Thanks for the burst of colour and joy this morning.
I love Glacier Lilies too! So delicate and beautiful.
And Those photos of cute puppies are wonderful!
Roxy on the Rocks is great… we should invent a drink named by your cute pup :o)
I’m so happy to hear Torrey is doing so well! She looks VERY happy to be out and about. :) Roxy looks positively regal on that rock – like she’s queen of the hill! I do hope you spot some wild horses today, I love your horse photos. The glacier lily is lovely.
Beautiful yellow flowers for Monday morning! Love to see these two sweet dogs. :)
Have a great week, Mary!
How old is little Roxy now?
She is 11. getting kinda old.
Hello, the flowers are lovely and your sweet furbabies are cute sugjects for your photos. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
How very delicate is that lily. Great photo of your dog too. :D
We think you did quite welll for being in a boring, non-scenic place. I would trust that you could find beauty somewhere, and of course the dogs are always a favorite subject!
We never get tired of seeing Torrey and Roxy! Love Dolly
