Sea Glass Circles
Sea Glass Circles
The photo prompt this week from The Daily Post is circle.
I was experimenting with this photo idea the other day, and then I realized it was perfect for this photo prompt. I took the sea glass marble I found, put it on this nicely curved blue piece of sea glass, and put them on a mirror. Thankfully we have had blue skies the past couple of days, so it worked out good.
I shot it from a couple of different angles, and just that slight change made a big difference in the photos.
Which one do you prefer?
Hello, beautiful images . I just love the colors of your sea glass. Have a happy day!
Very cool photos. This morning I’m liking the top one a bit better because it reminds me of stacked moons moving into infinity. I may change my mind this afternoon, when I’m more in the mood for a world on an island ;-)
LOl…Interesting how they are so different from just a slight change in angle.
So unique and artistic. I think I like the second one best.
I love the first photo. Maybe it’s the symmetry for me. Cool photos though and I am loving all your sea glass on facebook!
Thanks. I am having a blast getting all the sea glass while I can.
I like the textures in the first photo and the angles in the second photo!
I should blend them together. Lol
I like each one in different ways. Great idea and great angles.
What a cool idea for photos! I think I like the 2nd better but you’re right… it does change it up a lot.
I like the second, because of how you adjusted the focus, both are really great fun and would be ideal submissions…Have a great 2016.
Thanks. I’m glad you like them.
What a brilliant idea for a photo Mary! :-)
Personally, I want to say the bottom photo, but it’s the top one that grabs my attention. The bottom photo has better shadows and shape to the second fragment of glass, but to me, the top photo is more aesthetically pleasing :-)
It’s interesting to me how they are both so different from just a slight angle change. Thanks for your comment.
Beautiful shots! We like the first one.
I love them both (almost equally), but I think I am leaning towards the second one
I like the first one, though I can’t tell you why, because I do not know. you are so creative.
It’s just whatever your brain finds appealing.
I love them ALL! Will they be available for purchase in your store?
Thanks!
That is so cool! I like the second one, I think because it looks like the marble is defying gravity by not rolling off!
I love it, Mary! I looked for a long time, and I like them both. They’re different but they’re both beautiful. Great creativity!
I am a collector of sea glass, so these photos are some of my favorites for the week. Great job!
Love, Love both… Great angles, Mary! :)
Clever to use the mirror!
