We have only seen a small portion of Colorado on this trip, but what I have found is very nice. Currently, we are in Loveland for the Sculpture in the park show, but two days ago we were up in the mountains. We camped beside the Poudre river, which is a nice little river indeed. Everything is very green, and I have been able to find Beautiful flowers to photograph.
So for today’s See Beautiful blog hop, I am sharing some of these photos of flowers I found.
The other day, I took Torrey for an exploring hike in the mountains to see what we could see. Not knowing this area at all, it was fun to see some new sights. We hiked along a washed out 4 wheeler trail and came to a sign that said, Heart attack hill. It looked like a good view could be seen from there, so off we went.
Despite it being morning, it was warm and Torrey was glad for a little shade.
I found some Indian Paintbrush, a daisy of some kind, and these neat looking purple flowers.
In the mornings, the dew on the leaves in the campground was thick, and so beautiful.
And today is Day 29 in my 100 Days Project.
Happy See beautiful! Join the blog hop and see all the beauty that others have found.
Heart attack hill now that is funny. Love the dew pix. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Absolutely adore the photos of Torrey! I have family in Colorado and would you believe I have NEVER been there? It is definitely on my bucket list!
those beautiful flowers make my morning bright. Torrey lying in the shade; Oh what a wonderful sight! Morning dew on leaves glisten like jewels. Out on a hike where everything is cool.
Looks like you had a great time hiking. I bet the dogs enjoyed it. Great pictures! – Petnet(io)
I love the photos.
What a beautiful place! I love flowers that grow in the wild. Manicured gardens are very pretty, but they can’t come close to the interesting plants growing free. I always feel like I’ve discovered a treasure when I come across things like that in the woods. I love the dewy leaves – the first one could actually pass for frost!
Colorado is so Beautiful! Those purple flowers are so pretty…I’ve never seen them before. And oh my, how thick that morning dew was. Wow…that was a great photo too. Love the 100 day project entry. All Beautiful. Have a lovely weekend.
Great photos. The upper purple flowers look like a burdock of some sort. Not sure about the bottom one. This is a great blog hop. Is it weekly?
This blog hop is the second Friday of each month. You should join in next month.

Beautiful! We’re discovering the beautiful wild flowers here in our new home in Iowa. I love wildflowers. the Indian Paintbrush was one of my favorites in Texas. They were more of a red color, though.
What beautiful photos! Was that hike as difficult as it sounded like it might be? :)
What beautiful pictures! I’m glad you are enjoying my lovely state – it has so much to offer, especially for dogs!
It looks like you had fun!!! You captured some of the flowers that I saw today, on my first day home in a long time. They’re pretty! It is hot down at the lower elevations – I hope that it was still pleasant.
