Today’s Shop dog report is on all kinds of stuff. First, dad finished the chisel carved dresser for the clients in Colorado. This was really something different for him, but he was happy with the way it turned out.
The other things that are happening right now are pretty fun too. Dad is getting ready to teach a wood carving class in February. He will be teaching students how to carve this wood feather, and just some carving technique too. This is awesome for me, because there will be people for me to meet and greet. Anyway, he built this awesome walnut box to show what can be done with the feather, and also to sell.
In the middle of all this, he’s making a nice desk that will go in our RV so mom has a better place to work. They both decided some petroglyphs carved on the doors would look cool, so mom carved these yesterday. They will show up a lot better once the finish is put on the doors.
Torrey and I did our part too. Well, Torrey stole the rawhide, and I pouted.
