Soaking up the warm days
I’m not much for paying attention to the news, but I do pay attention to the weather. When you live in an RV, cold weather is something to be prepared for. But I also like to soak up the warm days while we have them. This time of year in Utah, can bring about any kind of weather. We have been super lucky and have really had a beautiful warm fall so far. All that is supposed to change this week, so I have been making sure I get outside and enjoy it. Friday, I took the dogs for a nice walk up our favorite local canyon. The trees up there change in stages, which is actually very cool. The maples are about done, and the oak are just getting yellow. This maple however, couldn’t decide if it was summer or fall.

We sat beside the stream for a bit, and nobody fell in.
Yesterday, I told you about our drive to pick up sticks in the desert. Another good day to enjoy the sunshine. Those old burned trees looked pretty neat in black and white, and here is one in full color.
Saturday evening Al’s nieces came to visit his mom, they had just been to a Halloween thing. They love playing with Torrey, and she feels the same way. Torrey playing with a miniature princess.

We had our own young visitors this weekend who stopped by after a Halloween party; let’s just say little girls are sweeter than pre-teen boys ;-)

Our fall in Michigan has been gorgeous too.I am just upset that I haven’t had a chance to enjoy it in the park with Dakota, soon the leaves will all be gone :(

Beautiful pics! We’ve had so much warm weather here, but somehow the liquidambar trees still know it’s time to change collar. So pretty! Love the fall. Even if it is still too hot here…

It looks like you had a very lovely weekend! Our maple trees couldn’t make up their minds this year either. Some changed and dropped their leaves very early, others waited until we got a week of rain before giving up their leaves!
I can honestly say the past two weeks have been incredibly mild and quite enjoyable for Northern VA. Now they say we’re getting a cold front later this week, but I think I’m ready for the cold to come. Nice photos.
