Beauty at the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge

Last Saturday we moved to the Kofa national wildlife refuge. We have stayed here before, and wanted to spend time here again, because it’s just so beautiful. The mountains to the east are unbelievably beautiful, morning or evening. Well, all day for that matter. On this particular morning, the sunrise was exceptional.

From Clicking to Creating – Week 6 2018

Of the two photo challenges this week, I liked the 2 Lil Owls prompt the best, morning. Mornings here in the desert can be spectacular, with colorful sunrises, and pastel beauty all around. It’s impossible to get all the beauty in one shot, so I like to make a panorama.

I’m still obsessed with catching the hummingbirds in flight. They are so dang fast, and it’s so rewarding when I can get a half way decent shot.
