I know today is supposed to be From Clicking to Creating, but this past weekend was incredibly busy and I couldn’t even kinda get that together. This last weekends art show was really good, for us and the other vendors, so that was very nice. As promoters, it was a lot of work again, but better than the weekend before.
One fabulous thing about Teton Village is the area, and all the great stuff there is to see. Before the show started we went for an evening walk, and got to see all the horses that were out to pasture for the night. These are the guys they use for trail rides, and they have the best pasture of any horses in the world.
It’s been a busy week, mostly because we are back in the land of wildlife, and it’s all I can do to keep up with all the photos I have taken in the past 5 days. I know…first world problems. Lol.
We got to Jackson Hole last Wednesday, and after getting the RV situated, we took our chairs to sit beside the river. Of course I didn’t have my camera, and we soon discovered the mountain blue birds were catching bugs right next to us. So, I walked back, and got our cameras. The stoneflies were hatching, and this guy clearly had a family to feed, he has 2 in his mouth in this photo.
Our second day in the Valley of Fire started at sunrise. I had read about a place in the park called pink canyon. The photos looked pretty cool, so we decided to head there first thing. The problem we had though, was there wasn’t much sunlight in the little slot canyon, so photography was difficult. But oh my….what a beautiful little place this was. Pink canyon is totally the right name.
