Thankful for all the things
Thankful for all the things
Happy Thanksgiving friends. I hope everyone takes a minute to think about all the things you are thankful for today.
Me, I’m thankful for all kinds of things.
First, I’m grateful that Al made it back home from his 3 weeks in Seattle. So good to have him home again.
Of course I’m grateful for family. Being in Utah gives us chance to see our families, and catch up with them. A couple weeks ago I took my nieces on an afternoon adventure. They are growing up so fast, and it’s fun to do stuff with them. We just walked on the river path, but they found “secret” paths in the trees, and we got to play in the fall leaves.
We had a great time.
Part of our family is of course Roxy and Torrey. I am thankful for them and the unconditional love they have for us.
I am thankful that the senate voted the other day to maintain protection for the wild horses. Hopefully Zincke will listen to the American people, and the senate, and stop his crusade against the wild ones. The American Wild Horse Campaign still needs help, and funding to continue the fight. One way you can help is by purchasing their 2018 Calendar. One of my burro photos was chosen for the month of March, and I’m so glad to have the chance to help the AWHC. As always, I donate 15% of all wild horse images sold from my Mary Hone Photography site to the AWHC too.
This is not exactly a grateful kind of thing, but I wanted to share my Amazon page with you guys. It’s full of my favorite things, and a few that are tops on my wish list. Some gift ideas too, if you’re stuck this year.
And of course I’m thankful that you all take the time to read this blog, and travel along with us.
Happy Thanksgiving, and have a great day.
So the senate voted to SAVE THEM! I have been out of the loop on that news….YAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Oh Mary, it’s great to see you posting again; I’ve missed your photos! Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Hello, your nieces are lovely young ladies. I love your cute Roxy and Torrey. I hope the wild horses are able to stay wild and safe. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

And Happy Thanksgiving to you Mary — may your weekend be filled with family, friends and giving thanks for one another.
I am grateful I get to see your amazing work and know you here.
We are thankful for your beautiful photos, and all you do to help the wild horses. It’s a pleasure for me to have online friends who appreciate nature so much!
The joy on your nieces’ faces is contagious, and of course Roxy and Torrey’s sweet faces always make me smile.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
PS…your amazon page looks great! I see something on there I’ve been wanting since you first posted about it (that instant pot that I never got!).
We’re thankful for all you do for the wild horses! And for sharing your gorgeous photos with us. (Love the “Public land owner” shirt on your amazon page!)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving, Mary. I am so glad to have found your blog years ago, and to enjoy your amazing photography through it!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Glad to hear that the senate did the right thing for the wild horses! I’ve been out of the loop for a while, trying to take a break from all the political bs on FB and Twitter…getting aggravated and riled-up by it just is not healthy…glad the STWH campaign has such a strong, dedicated supporter as you!
Thank you for introducing these beautiful, majestic wild horses via your lens! :)
I’m thankful you share the beauty you see, Mary.
