The end of a season
October marks the end of summer, the end of a warm and wonderful season. October will forever mark the end of another season for us. Friday night Al’s dad passed away. He was a warm and wonderful person, and will be greatly missed by many. Everything that Al knows about wood working and hard work, he learned from his dad. He was so very proud of Al when he took all that knowledge to the next level and started creating his art. Al in turn has passed everything down to his two extremely talented sons. So the seasons continue to turn, but there will always be something missing.
Today I have no words to share, no adventures to talk about. So I am sharing beautiful fall leaves, and colors. The colors of the season, that Al’s dad loved to see.
I’m certain he is walking beside a river fishing, and enjoying the season.
Sorry to read Al’s dad has passed away. We know he will be greatly missed but his spirit remains strong in each and very creation Al makes.

I am so deeply sorry to learn of Al’s Dad. I am so terribly, terribly sorry. What a wonderful gift he has passed on to his son though, Al is incredibly talented and that will live on forever. ((((hugs))))

what a wonderful post and tribute to Lavell. I bet hes at some heavenly fishing hole. I loved his minatures he build and his walking canes. Most of all I will miss his kindness and sence of humor.
