This Weeks Photo Challenges
This Weeks Photo Challenges
The 52 week photo challenges this week are all a bit different.
They are calling the Dogwood 52 week challenge this year, advanced. And so far, the prompts really do make you think. They have 3 categories for the year, and then the specific prompt for each week. The categories are technical, artistic, and storytelling. This week is storytelling with a mirror.
Holding the desert in my hand.
2 LilOwls prompt is sunset. This is an easy one being in Arizona. Almost every night is gorgeous.
And the pet photography challenge is to shoot from a low perspective. Good timing on this one actually. The other day I was doing yoga outside and Torrey came and stood over me. I had my phone nearby so I grabbed it, and clicked this shot. She is beautiful from every angle.
This weekends art show was cold and rainy, but we did pretty ok anyway. Not the best show, but not the worst either. The reception on the new art pieces we have created with my wild horse photos has been extremely positive. Makes me feel good that people are actually wanting my art on their walls.
How did you put the dessert in that tiny piece of glass??????
Hello, Torry! You are darling!
It’s a bit of photoshop magic. Maybe I’ll do a little tutorial on how to.
The desert in your hand is pretty fun looking! Nice job!
Thanks tons.
That first one is amazing how you did that! I love the one of Torrey, of course. She is beautiful against the blue sky and the lighting is lovely. Great capture with your phone!
The first shot is some photoshop magic. Maybe I’ll do a tutorial on how. And ya, Torrey is always gorgeous.
All the photos are awesome – you truly are talented, Mary! And that photo of Torrey just grabs my heart strings! She’s a beautiful girl and this photo shows it perfectly!
Thanks so much. Torrey is amazing, inside and out.
This first one is very cool! Torrey is so good looking! :)
Beautiful images, Mary, each in its own different way. I’m, of course, pretty partial to the one of Torrey, such a beautiful girl. Glad the show went well for you, your work deserves positive attention.
yes, so nice that people want your art on their walls.
I love the mirror photo, you captured so much in the little bit of mirror.
Wow, those are all fantastic. Yes, Torrey is gorgeous from every angle! Of course folks were interested in your horse photos – they’re fabulous!
Beautiful. All shots are in perfect angle. I’m amaze then!
