Artsy Fartsy Tuesday – Photo Challenges
Artsy Fartsy Tuesday – Photo Challenges
Hard to believe there are only a few more weeks left in the year, and therefore only a few more weeks of photo challenges. I look back at my photos from the start of the year, and it seems like I just started taking them.
Week 44 – Imagination for 2LilOwls
I created this image, but I also like to think that maybe Torrey imagines she is playing with fairies.
I couldn’t do this week for the Dogwood challenge because it required an ND filter, which I don’t have.
Week – 45 for 2LilOwls was Smile. Torrey has the best smile….ever.
For the Dogwood challenge, week 45 was cold in an artistic way. I’m not sure how artistic this shot is, but it portrays cold pretty well.
Week 46 for 2LilOwls was lazy days. I took this shot when I visited the horses a week or so ago. This mom and foal were just relaxed, and I suppose lazy.
Week 46 in the Dogwood was foreground landscape that tells a story. This shot is also from my visit to the horses. When the sun was going down, I got down on the ground and shot the golden grass.
Week 47 – 2LilOwls was up in the air. The day I took my nieces, I had them throw leaves in the air because I knew it would make a cute photo, and then it was perfect for this challenge too.
Week 47 for the Dogwood was a technical one, shaped bokeh. This was probably the hardest one yet this year. Torrey is a very good model, but the other technical parts of this were not easy.
Only a few more weeks left, and I am trying to decide if I should do next years challenges. I probably will, simply because it really does make you branch out and think.
As always I am enjoying your photos. Week 44 – Imagination is especially cool. It seems like the challenges are fun to participate in.
WOW. That moose, Torry, those HORSES! Mary, I’ve missed ya!
The moose is great! Looks like someone came by and dusted with powdered sugar!
Love the moose — but that last one of Torrey is magical!
Hello, great series of photos. I love the dogs, the moose and the kiddies. The golden sun shot is beautiful.
Have a happy day!
Beautiful set of nature photos, Mary! The first one is amazing.:)
Thank you for this special post!
You always rise so well to these challenges! It’s tough to pick a favorite, but I sure do love Torrey’s smiling face, and the moose in the snow.
Hard to believe the year is almost over! Your nieces are so cute! As is Torrey! And that moose pic made me shiver, so it’s definitely hitting a “cold” note for me!
Torrey does have the best smile ever!!! I love that moose, and I love your nieces tossing the leaves with glee!!!!
How does one do “shaped bokeh”? It looks cool but I didn’t even know that it existed!
The fairy picture reminded me of the turn of the century photos of ferries that Houdini, I believe, debunked. Maybe he would believe if he had met Torrey. :)
Gorgeous Photos!
such wonderful images and captures!
The fairy one is so sweet
and
